LPG Lipomassage

What is LPG (Lipomassage)?

Cellulite is a skin problem occurring in both sexes, but women are more vulnerable to it. Cellulite is controlled by hormones in women, and occurs at various different levels in them due to genetic differences. Therefore, it might occur in a different way in every individual irrespective of weight problems.

Medically, this condition also called: Adiposis Edematosa, Dermopanniculosis Deformans, and Gynoid Lipodystrophy.

It appears in the form of irregular fatty deposits accumulating under the skin of the body parts where circulation is imperfect and the fat burning process has slowed down.

Slim people are not necessarily immune to it, as overweight people are not necessarily vulnerable to it.

Over the past 20 years LPG proven to be the world leader in the connective tissue treatments and has introduced numerous technological innovations to enhance wellbeing.

To date, over 10 million people have been treated with LPG techniques in over 95 countries.

The Cellu M6 Keymodule, the device which performs Endermologie, was the first device in the world to be recognized by the FDA as a proven solution to cellulite and body contouring.

Lipomassage by Endermologie is a unique, non-invasive way of shaping your body, reducing the appearance of cellulite and improving overall skin fitness.

It is possible to mobilize the irregular fatty deposits in question by vacuuming them by means of the LPG device, to regulate circulation by means of the roller of the said device, and to facilitate lymph drainage. This technique will not remove the fats, but reduces the wavy appearance of the skin caused by sticky tissues.

Daily exercises ensure the body's muscles to work out, so that they consume the fatty deposits around them as fuel and ensure the said deposits to be eliminated from the body, but it is not easy to treat the tissues suffering cellulite by physical exercises. The ideal solution is to use the LPG device providing massage and vacuum effects both together.

With the increasing popularity of various cosmetic surgery procedures, including treatment of LPG, it is imperative that the prospective patient research and understand different issues like what the procedure can and cannot treat, inherent risks, costs, and so on. Keep in mind, cosmetic procedure is just that – a surgical procedure whose results cannot simply be erased. When considering any form of cosmetic surgery, it is important to have a good understanding of the procedure before making a decision. Take some time to view the introductory information we have provided on treatment of cellulite by LPG. While the information contained in this website will provide you with a basic understanding of the procedure, it may not answer all of your questions. Causes of Cellulite:

The causes of cellulite are poorly understood and may involve changes in metabolism and physiology such as gender specific dimorphic skin architecture, alteration of connective tissue structure, hormonal factors, genetic factors, the microcirculatory system, the extracellular matrix, and subtle inflammatory alterations:

A- Hormonal factors: Hormones play a dominant role in the formation of cellulite. Estrogen may be the important hormone and initiate and aggravate cellulite. However, there has been no reliable clinical evidence to support such a claim. Other hormones including insulin, the catecholamine adrenaline and nor-adrenaline, thyroid hormones, and prolactin are all believed to participate in the development of cellulite.
B- Genetic factors: There is a genetic element in individual susceptibility to cellulite. Researchers led by Dr Enzo Emanuele have traced the genetic component of cellulite to particular polymorphisms in the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and hypoxia-inducible factor 1A (HIF1a) genes.
C- Predisposing factors: Several factors have been shown to affect the development of cellulite. Gender, race, biotype, distribution of subcutaneous fat, and predisposition to lymphatic and circulatory insufficiency have all been shown to contribute to cellulite.
D- Diet: Dieting has shown to have variable effects on improving or worsening the appearance of cellulite.
E- Lifestyle: A high stress lifestyle will cause an increase in the level of catecholamine, which have also been associated with the evolution of cellulite.
F- Clothing: Wearing tight underwear enhances cellulite formation by impeding the flow of lymphatic fluid in the hips and thighs.

Treatment of Cellulite By LPG (Lipomassage):

Several machines have been introduced that massage the areas affected by cellulite. These machines use rolling cylinders to gather areas of skin and massage them inside a chamber. One example of massage treatments is Endermologie, which was developed in France and has been used for cellulite treatment. This technique uses an electrically powered device that suctions, pulls, and squeezes affected areas. Treatments are expensive and typically last for 30-45 minutes, and 10-12 treatments are typically required before results are noticeable. While a temporary decrease in the appearance of cellulite may occur, the technique appears to redistribute fat rather than permanently alter its configuration under the skin. Regular maintenance treatments are required after the initial effect has been achieved or the appearance of cellulite will return. Endermologie has been approved by the U.S. FDA for temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. LPG is also an ideal device to treat cellulite.

The session takes half an hour and no anaesthesia will be needed.

You may need 3 to 6 sessions to get final slim results.

How Much Do LPG Treatment Typically Cost?

Often the price says nothing about the quality of the work. Most multicenter clinics charge much more than private doctors — their advertising budget is more and the owner of the clinic has to take his 20% or 30% off the top. In my opinion, you are less likely to get a quality procedures at these multi-center locations.

Although price is a factor when deciding on any procedure, the most important factor is that you feel you are getting a good quality, natural-looking result from the procedure.

Cellulite treatment costs are variable according to the deformity and the used device. Usually the cost is ranging from 50 to 100 U.S. dollars per session. You may need 3 to 6 sessions. Most medical insurance providers do not cover the procedure.
